Affirmative to negative rules Bangla

1. Every + noun কে Negative করতে হলে every এর পরিবর্তে There is no + noun….but বসে।
i. Affirmative: Every mother loves her child.
Negative: There is no mother but loves her child.
OR, There is no mother who doesn't love her child.
OR, No mother hates her child.

ii. Affirmative: Everybody fears a lion.
Negative: There is nobody but fears a lion.

2. Only/alone এর পরিবর্তে Negative Sentence এর শুরুতে none but বসে। আর কোন পরিবর্তন হয় না।
i. Affirmative: Only he can play football.
Negative: None but he can play football.

ii. AffirmativeHe alone can do the sum
Negative: None but he can do the sum.

Note: 
বস্তুর ক্ষেত্রে only এর পরিবর্তে nothing but বসে তবে বয়সের ক্ষেত্রে বা সংখ্যার ক্ষেত্রে only এর পরিবর্তে not more than or not less than বসে

i. AffirmativeHe has only a few books.
Negative: He has nothing but a few books.

ii. Affirmative: They have only three cars.
Negative: They have not more than three cars.
3. Affirmative sentence এ must/have to/have থাকলে negative করার সময় must এর পরিবর্তে cannot but/ cannot help বসে। তবে cannot help এর পরে যে verb থাকে তার সাথে ing যুক্ত করতে হয়।
i. Affirmative: We must obey our parents.
Negative: We cannot but obey our parents.

4. As soon as যুক্ত Sentence কে Negative করতে হলে- As soon as এর জায়গায় no sooner had বসবে + প্রদত্ত Sentence এর subject বসে + V3 form বসে + sentence এর বাকী অংশ বসে + than + দ্বিতীয় বাক্য বসে।
i. Affirmative: As soon as he saw the lion, he ran away.
Negative: No sooner had he seen the lion than he ran away.
5. Affirmative sentence কে Negative করার সময় উক্ত sentence এর Affirmative শব্দটির Negative রূপ বসাতে হয়। এবং উক্ত Negative এর পূর্বে not বসাতে হয়। বাকী সব ঠিক থাকে।
i. Affirmative: She is a good woman.
Negative: She is not a bad woman.

6. Always যুক্ত Affirmative sentence কে Negative করতে হলে Always এর পরিবর্তে never বসে। Affirmative শব্দটির Negative রূপ বসাতে হয়।

i. AffirmativeShe was always punctual.
Negative: She was never late.
7. Superlative degree যুক্ত Affirmative sentence কে Negative করতে হলে –No other + superlative এর পরের অংশ + verb + as + superlative degree এর positive form + as + প্রদত্ত sentence এর subject.
i. AffirmativeShe is the best batsman in the team.
Negative: No other batsman in the team is as good as She.
8. Than any other/than all other যুক্ত comparative degree কে Negative করতে হলে – No other + any other/all other এর পরের অংশ বসে + প্রদত্ত verb + so/as বসে + comparative degree এর positive form + as + প্রদত্ত sentence এর subject.
i. AffirmativeShe is better than any other girl in the class.
Negative: No other girl in the class is as good as 
She.
9. Than যুক্ত comparative degree কে Negative করতে হলে – Than এর শেষের অংশ প্রথমে বসে + verb (tense ও person অনুযায়ী) + not + so/as + comparative degree এর positive form + as + প্রদত্ত sentence এর subject.
i. AffirmativeShe is stronger than you.
Negative: You are not as/so strong as She.
10. As....as যুক্ত positive degree কে Negative করতে হলে – প্রথম as এর পরিবর্তে not less শেষ as এর পরিবর্তে than বসে।
i. Affirmative: Rana and Rahim were as strong as Raj.
Negative: Rana and Rahim were not less strong than Raj.
11. Less ... than যুক্ত sentence কে Negative করতে হলে – Less এর জায়গায় not as বসবে এবং than এর জায়গায় as বসবে।
i. AffirmativeShe is less ugly than you said.
Negative: She is not as ugly as you said.
12. Too ..... to যুক্ত sentence কে Negative করতে হলে– Too এর জায়গায় so বসে + Too এর পরের adjective/adverb বসে + that বসে + পুনরায় subject বসে। + tense অনুযায়ী cannot/could not + প্রদত্ত to এর পরের অংশ বসে।
i. AffirmativeShe is too weak to walk.
Negativ
e: She is so weak that she cannot walk.
13. By + ing verb (Present Participle) যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative করতে by এর স্থানে Without + প্রথম Clause এর বাকি অংশ + দ্বিতীয় Clause এর Subject + auxiliary Verb + not + বাকি অংশ।
Example:
i. Affirmative: By giving love to others, you can receive it
Negative: Without giving love to others, you cannot receive it.

ii. AffirmativeBy labouring hard, they can improve their condition.
Negative: Without labouring hard , they cannot improve their condition.

iii. Affirmative: By studying hard, you can make a good result.
Negative: Without studying hard you cannot make a good result.
14. Very যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative Sentence এ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম।
Structure: Subject + verb + not + affirmative word এর‌ Negative form + object/extension + at all.
i. Affirmative: He is a very good student.
Negative: He is not bad student at all.
15. Both... and যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative Sentence এ‌‌ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম। Structure: Both এর‌ জায়গায় not only এবং ‌and এর‌ জায়গায় but also বসে বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
Affirmative: Both John and Peter can do it.
Negative: Not only John but also Peter can do it.
16. Many যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative Sentence এ‌‌ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম।Structure: Many এর পরিবর্তে not a few এবং বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
Affirmative: There are many boys in the field.
Negative: There are not a few boys in the field.

Affirmative to Negative Rules

17. A few যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative Sentence এ‌‌ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম।
Structure: A few এর পরিবর্তে not many এবং বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
Affirmative: I have a few friends.
Negative: I have not Many friends.
Or, I do not have many friends.
18. A little যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative Sentence এ‌‌ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম।Structure: a little এর পরিবর্তে not much এবং বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
Affirmative: There is a little water in the jar.
Negative: There is not much water in the jar.
19. Much যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative Sentence এ‌‌ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম।
Structure: Much এর পরিবর্তে not a little এবং বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
Affirmative: She has much money.
Negative: She has not a little money.
20. যে‌ সকল‌ Affirmative Sentence Universal truth, Habitual fact and Scientific fact প্রকাশ করে এদের কে Negative এ রূপান্তর করার সময় একসাথে Negative- interrogative করতে হয়।
Affirmative: The earth moves round the sun.
Negative: Doesn't the earth move round the sun?
