Fitness can be described as the condition of being physically strong and healthy. It is the quality of being suitable to fulfil a particular role or task. Physical fitness is a blessing in a man's life. People who have fitness are much more likely to be productive and successful in their life.
The health benefits of being physically fit are many. To point out, it decreases the risk of heart disease, brain stroke, diabetes, and many other deadly and critical diseases. It controls our cholesterol level, body weight, unwanted body aches, respiratory problems, etc.
Moreover, it boosts up our energy level and immune system to fight germs and diseases, helps manage anxiety and stress. It also improves muscular strength and overall body flexibility, keeps us physically fit and ensures a long life.
We can develop fitness in many ways. Aerobics is one of them. It is a set of energetic physical exercises performed with a group of people to music. It makes the heart, lungs, and muscles stronger and increases the amount of oxygen in the blood.
Another effective mode is doing various kinds of exercises using machines, weights, and other equipment in a gym. We can also bring fitness by doing meditating. Again, yoga, a set of physical and mental exercises, gives control over the body and mind.
However, we have to keep in mind that the metabolism of the body is largely responsible for our health and fitness. A better metabolism can ensure faster absorption of nutrients into our bodies.
So, we should eat a balanced diet properly and do physical exercises regularly to gain fitness.
