In our country most women were engaged in the household activities. They did not participate in the development work. But now, the situation has changed. Today women contribute a lot in various sectors. Now they are not confined at home.
Women play the major role in garment sector. About 85% workers in garment sector are women. They work not only in garments but also in other sectors. They work as social workers, teachers, bankers, lawyers, police officers, politicians and so on.
In the field of administration the number of women is very low. But the number is increasing day by day. Their contribution to the field of administration and to the development of our country is praiseworthy. Social workers are doing a lot of social work, teachers are building the nation by educating the students.
Women bankers are doing great jobs in banking and lawyers are found to fight against crime. More women should participate in the work of development of the country. About half of the population of this country is women. So, without the participation of women any kind of development or progress is impossible.
If we change our point of view towards women it will be easier for them to take part in various economic activities and to contribute to the development of the country.
Social security is the most essential thing to ensure the participation of the women. So, government should take pragmatic steps to ensure their security
