Paragraph On Spending

SPENDING Paragraph

We spend money for various purposes. We spend money to buy daily essentials, food, clothes, to entertain people, travel to places, help others, or invest in business.

In fact, spending is part and parcel of our life. Spending may affect us positively or negatively depending on our way of spending. Spending money on the things, we need and within our capability is good. But compulsive urge to buy things makes life stressful.

Spending unnecessarily or spending beyond our means may lead us to troubles like financial ruin or debt or familial unhappiness. People who overspend are never satisfied with the things they have. They always feel uncontrollable urge to buy new brands, fashion items, designer clothes, etc.

At one point on the process, they develop an addiction for buying things, which results in psychological problems. Nowadays, consumer items are displayed in stores or in advertisements so appealingly that we get constantly tempted to buy things that we do not really need.

Salesmen often try to induce us to buy things with their most persuasive speeches like "This is a perfect match for you, or you look so beautiful in this dress." But all these are merely a part of their professional habit.

They apply these types of speech to most of the customers to derive greatest benefit from them. Their profit gets higher according to their ability to sell.

Overspending is not confined in shopping only. People are seen to waste money on many other things. For example, they often buy various items of food but eat only some of them and the rest are wasted. We cannot waste only we have capability to do so.

Young people being fascinated with the fashionable things on display often get allured to buy them stretching their monetary capability. They using their credit cards, might fall in a debt-trap.

Children often compel their parents to buy things stretching their economic capacity. So, we should not be victim of the attractive advertisement on television or Internet.

Rather we should ask ourselves, "Do I need this?" The best way to control the habit of overspending is to think. "How can I do without it?"
