SSC narration board question 2025 with answers

1. [Dhaka Board-2025]
"Why didn't you go to school yesterday?" said the mother to the girl. "I was ill." the girl replied. "How are you today?" the mother asked again. "Well," said the girl. "Don't worry for me."

Answer: Mother asked the girl why she had not gone to school the previous day. The girl
replied that she had been ill. Mother again asked her how she was that day. The girl answered that she was well. She also told her mother not to worry for her.

2. [Rajshahi Board-2025]
"What are you reading?" Mumi said to Rumi. "I am reading a drama written by G.B Shaw. What an interesting drama it is! I have collected it from our school library," said Rumi. "Please lend me the book," said Mumi.

Answer: Mumi asked Rumi what he was reading. Rumi replied that he was reading a drama written by G.B Shaw and exclaimed with wonder that it was an interesting drama. He also informed that he had collected it from their school library. Mumi requested him to lend her the book.

3. [Dinajpur Board-2025]
Mohsin said to the thief, "Speak the truth. I will not punish you. I shall try to help you." The thief said, "Sir, I am very poor. I have no food to give my wife and children. They are crying for food."

Answer: Mohsin told the thief to speak the truth and assured him that he would not punish him. He also said that he (M) would try to help him (t). The thief respectfully replied that he was very poor. He added that he had no food to give his wife and children. He also added that they were crying for food.

4. [Sylhet Board-2025]
"How is your mother, Rakib?" asked Mrs. Jamil. "She is very well, thank you," Rakib replied. "She has been ill but now she is quite well." "I am very glad to hear that she is better," said Mrs. Jamil.

Answer: Mrs. Jamil asked Rakib how his mother was. Rakib replied that she was very well and thanked her. He also added that she (his mother) had been ill but then she was quite well. Mrs. Jamil said that she was very glad to hear that she (his mother) was better.

5. [Jashore Board-2025]
"May I come in, Sir?" said the guardian. "Yes, come in, please", said the Headmaster. The guardian said, "We, all the guardians along with you must do something for the betterment of our children. They are losing their morality." The Headmaster said, "Let's plan something for their betterment."  

Answer: The guardian respectfully asked the Headmaster if he might come in. The Headmaster replied that he might and requested him to come in. The guardian then said that all the guardians along with the Headmaster must do something for the betterment of their children as they were losing their morality. The Headmaster agreed and suggested that they should plan something for their betterment.

6. [Barishal Board-2025]
The traveller said, “Can you tell me the way to the nearest inn”? “Yes,” said the peasant. “Do you want one in which you can spend the night?” “No,” replied the traveller. “I only want a meal.”  

Answer: The traveler asked the peasant if he could tell him the way to the nearest inn. The peasant replied in the affirmative. The peasant asked the traveller if he wanted one in which he could spend the night. The traveller replied in the negative and added that he only wanted a meal.

7. [Chattogram Board-2025]
"Where is my son?" said the grocer. "A crow carried your son away," said the fruit-seller. "You liar, how can a crow carry such a big boy?" "Just the same way as mice can eat away the balance and weights."  

Answer: The grocer asked the fruit seller where his son was. The fruit seller replied that a crow had carried his son away. Addressing the fruit seller as a liar, the grocer asked him how a crow could carry such a big boy. The fruit seller replied that it was just the same way as mice could eat away the balance and weights. 

8. [Cumilla Board-2025]
"Why have you been absent from the class for a long time? Your exam is knocking at the door," said the teacher angrily. "Sorry, Sir, I will never be irregular again," said Raju. "Actually I have been suffering from Dengue fever." "Be regular from now on," the teacher said.  

Answer: The teacher asked Raju angrily why he had been absent from the class for a long time and reminded him that his exam was knocking at the door. Raju apologized and respectfully replied that he would never be irregular again. He also added that he had been suffering from Dengue fever. Then the teacher advised him to be regular from then on.

9. [Mymensingh Board-2025]
Faria said, "Raihan, do you like my village?" "I really like the calmness here." said Raihan. "Let's enjoy the scenery over there." "It's a great idea! I will love it." said Raihan.  

Answer: Faria asked Raihan if he liked her village. Raihan replied that he really liked the calmness there. Faria then suggested that they should enjoy the scenery over there. Raihan said that it was a great idea and he would love it.
